Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing necessary repairs and preventive maintenance throughout the property, including maintenance of residential apartment homes and common areas. This role involves appliance maintenance, minor electrical and plumbing repairs, and preparing units to market-ready condition. The technician must ensure property upkeep through regular inspections and maintain laundry facilities and, if applicable, perform pool maintenance in compliance with city codes. Must provide excellent customer service, addressing resident needs and on-call emergencies as requested by the Community Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
- Frequent standing and walking
- Ability to lift up to 110 pounds
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record
Desired Qualifications
- Pool certification preferred
- HVAC certification preferred
- Boiler certification preferred
Additional Requirements
- Driver must have reliable means of transportation
- Driver must provide proof of personal auto liability insurance
