Job Summary
Observe machinery in operation to identify mechanical issues and determine root causes of equipment failures. Troubleshoot, dismantle, repair, and replace defective machine components while performing routine, preventative, and planned maintenance on production equipment. Complete equipment changeovers and setup activities, conduct machining of production parts as needed, and execute maintenance duties including welding, metal fabrication, electrical work, pipefitting, and carpentry. Document all repairs and activities accurately while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company safety standards. This role supports a global manufacturer of engineered motion control products serving major OEMs in aerospace, automotive, and heavy truck industries.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 5 years of related maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, mathematics, and mechanical systems
- Experience working with industrial equipment, motors, and gears
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- A drug-free workplace
- A criminal background check
Desired Qualifications
- Welding, fabrication, machining, electrical, pipefitting, and carpentry experience preferred
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance practices
