Job Summary
Perform assigned maintenance tasks under supervision, including plumbing, drywalling, painting, and fixture repair. Purchase repair materials using company accounts, maintain supply inventory, and update the computerized maintenance management system as work is completed. Track mileage and reimbursable expenses, submitting monthly expense reports. Clock in and out for shifts and lunch via the timekeeping system, while completing required monthly safety training. Work a regular Monday through Friday daytime schedule with a rotating on-call rotation covering evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to Three years' of recent experience in maintenance that required driving between work locations
- Must have own reliable transportation and valid 'clear' driver's license and be able to drive to any locations within the Goodwill market area
- Able to manage time effectively, including prioritizing assignments to ensure that the most critical work orders are completed in a timely manner
Desired Qualifications
- 3+ years of previous experience in general carpentry, plumbing, painting, and other general maintenance activities
- One to Three years' of recent experience in maintenance of a multi-unit commercial building or retail environment that required driving between work locations
