Job Summary
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment including motors, conveyors, PLCs, and all other machinery while complying with EPA, OSHA, and Total Preventative Maintenance guidelines. Perform daily visual inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment, fabricate parts as needed, and coordinate with operations on repair schedules and potential production delays. Track all repairs in Manager Plus to identify recurring themes and analyze trends for recommendations that increase machine reliability and uptime. Communicate immediate and potential issues directly to the maintenance manager.
Required Qualifications
- Strong industrial mechanical equipment skills
- Proven troubleshooting, problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Ability to prioritize repairs according to urgency
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
- Successful completion of Industrial Maintenance apprenticeship program or other accredited training
- 10+ years industrial maintenance repair and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment
