Job Summary
Supervise vendors and subcontractors while maintaining preventive maintenance schedules for all buildings, grounds, and operating systems. Operate and manage Building Management Systems including HVAC, lighting control, security, and life safety, ensuring compliance with OSHA and regulatory guidelines. Manage utility optimization through usage and procurement controls, and restore any property component to working order. Requires valid driver's license, multi-tasking skills, and flexibility for after-hours or on-call duties.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years' Maintenance engineering experience with knowledge of commercial, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- High school diploma or equivalent with technical school certification
- General maintenance skills in carpentry, painting, locksmithing, etc.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
- Proven knowledge of technical terms used in HVAC, plumbing and/or electrical
- Strong knowledge of building trade tools and equipment
- Good verbal communication skills and written communication skills in English and customer service skills
- Must be a good team player with multi-tasking skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent attendance record and willingness to work a flexible schedule which may include after hours and/or on-call duties
- Must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test
