Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Perform routine maintenance tasks including painting, plumbing, and electrical repairs while responding to guest requests for assistance in a timely, professional manner. Inspect and maintain guest rooms, public areas, and equipment to ensure they remain in good working order, and conduct preventative maintenance on all hotel systems. Assist with the installation of new equipment as needed and maintain accurate records of all work performed. Ensure all activities comply with applicable safety regulations and standards. Requires high school diploma, prior hotel maintenance experience, and strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. Flexible schedule includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
