Job Summary
Execute general grounds and lawn maintenance, including weed treatment, leaf raking, planting, mulching, and tree limb removal. Perform repairs on community-owned homes and maintain water and sewer lines, addressing sewer back-ups and inground water issues. Handle resident contacts with courtesy, manage garbage removal from common areas and sites, and execute assigned work orders while reporting status to the Community Manager. Conduct regular equipment inventories, maintain all tools and machinery, and perform seasonal pre-maintenance services. Remain available for on-call duties and complete other assigned tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience
- Valid operator's license
- Maintenance of a good driving record at all times
- Insurability under the Company's policy at all times
- Working knowledge of plumbing
- Working knowledge of electrical
- Working knowledge of appliance repairs
- Working knowledge of HVAC
- Working knowledge of carpentry
- Ability to bend
- Ability to stretch
- Ability to twist
- Ability to walk continuously
- Ability to access restricted spaces
- Ability to operate maintenance equipment
- Ability to operate other equipment
- Ability to lift or to move up to 75 pounds
- Ability to efficiently perform job responsibilities with minimal supervision
- Mobile Home experience
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience, preferred
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Mobile Home experience a plus
