Job Summary
Maintain and repair optical manufacturing equipment by diagnosing issues, identifying faulty components, and performing repairs using electronic testing tools and technical documentation. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot in-line manufacturing systems to ensure optimal performance while executing preventive maintenance schedules daily, weekly, and monthly. Utilize mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic technologies to service production equipment and document tasks via the MCCS system on a tablet. Operate safely around 480V power systems and apply Lockout/Tagout procedures for all energy sources. Work Friday through Sunday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. with overtime availability, earning $28–$30/hour plus a $1.50 shift differential.
Required Qualifications
- Basic understanding of ladder logic used in PLC systems
- Familiarity with robotic equipment controlled by PLCs and legacy relay logic systems
- Experience operating or working around equipment such as scissor lifts and forklifts
- Ability to use a multimeter to measure voltage, resistance, and capacity, including working safely around 480V power systems
- Proficiency with basic computer software for maintenance tracking and communication
- Use of MCCS system to perform and document daily tasks
- Monitor and execute Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules—daily, weekly, and monthly
- Experience with PM systems commonly used across industrial environments
- Ability to use a tablet to access and review PM tasks within Zenni's digital system
- Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) safety procedures: secure energy sources including electrical, pneumatic, and spring-loaded systems to ensure safe maintenance operations
- Must be available for overtime as needed, including weekdays
- Shift: Friday - Sunday 6:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
