Job Summary
Perform routine preventative maintenance, strip, wax, and buff floors on a scheduled basis, and move furniture or assist residents with moving needs as assigned. Provide grounds care including weeding and snow removal, while maintaining cooperative relationships with residents, co-workers, physicians, and other service providers. Maintain availability for all community emergencies and on-call duties. Full-time role with medical, dental, and vision insurance, generous PTO, perfect attendance bonuses, and 401k.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Three to five years of painting/wallcovering experience in a residential setting
- Electrical and plumbing experience
- Proficiency in the English language enabling the employee to read, write, comprehend and communicate simple instructions, correspondence, memos, etc.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Willingness to be available for any/all emergencies regarding the community and on-call duties
