Job Summary
Maintenance Technician at Element by Marriott North Charleston is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing malfunctioning electrical and mechanical systems and equipment; prioritizing and scheduling work from maintenance requests; proactively inspecting the property; executing ongoing maintenance programs; servicing the hotel pool (chemical adjustment and filter cleaning); performing preventative maintenance on a scheduled basis; maintaining the building exterior; and responding to guest maintenance requests, with 1 year of maintenance experience preferred and a valid driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year in a maintenance role, that required the troubleshooting and repairing of various systems and equipment such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems preferred
- Valid Driver’s License
- Self-directed and ability to work independently
