Maintenance Technician Full-Time 1st Shift - Staples Promotional Products

Job Summary
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment, including forklifts, conveyor systems, and dock equipment. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime while troubleshooting screen printing and embroidery machinery. Conduct general building maintenance for HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and office fixtures, responding quickly to breakdowns to support smooth operations. Maintain accurate records of preventative maintenance inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards. Coordinate with vendors for specialized repairs and assist with installation of new equipment. Shift hours are 6:00am-2:30pm Monday through Friday.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance, warehouse, or industrial environment
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Strong knowledge in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to read technical manuals and effectively troubleshoot equipment issues
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work in a warehouse environment
- Comfortable working at heights and in varying temperatures
- Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
- Basic computer skills for documenting maintenance activities
Desired Qualifications
