Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for performing a variety of general maintenance duties including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting and plastering repairs as necessary of district buildings. Responsibilities include following district policies and safety procedures (OSHA), performing repairs and maintenance on building systems and fixtures, operating hand and power tools, addressing leaks or drainage issues, maintaining records of scheduled maintenance, responding to emergencies, and assisting with groundskeeping and special events as needed. Skills emphasized include knowledge of basic construction and repair procedures, ability to use hand and power tools, effective communication with management, ability to work independently, and strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one year maintenance experience is preferred.
