Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems while responding promptly to work orders and urgent facility issues. Support life safety systems, including fire alarms and emergency equipment, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as Joint Commission and NFPA standards. Maintain accurate documentation, coordinate with clinical staff and vendors to minimize disruption, and perform routine building inspections. Schedule is Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm with weekend rotation every third weekend and potential evening or emergency call-outs. Requires high school diploma, two years of relevant experience, and general knowledge of specialized building systems.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Indiana driver's license with proof of insurance
- General knowledge of specialized areas including electrical secondary systems, plumbing systems, fire system devices and air systems
- Ability to read and interpret information from blueprints, schematics and diagrams
- General knowledge in the use of power and hand tools
- Basic computer skills
- Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs

- Knowledge of applicable building codes related to healthcare
