Job Summary
Walk the community daily noting needed repairs and ensure all work orders are completed in a timely fashion, providing same-day services and producing five-day turns on vacant units. Advise the Maintenance Supervisor on stock levels, maintenance problems, and solutions while assisting in achieving budgeted expenses and the annual budget plan. Maintain a professional image, adhere to Fair Housing, ADA, OSHA, and EPA policies, and assume emergency on-call duty as scheduled. Assist in the maintenance of the maintenance shop and support the team in promoting excellence in resident care and service.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Some Vocational/Technical school and/or college
- 2 years prior property maintenance experience or related field
- EPA Certification required
- Must have own tools
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, appliance repair, plumbing, electrical, and pool care
Desired Qualifications
- CPO Certification preferred
- Computer skills to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) property management software (Yardi, PO Purchase System) preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
