Job Summary
Inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair, and install machinery, electrical devices, pipe systems, and automated machinery within the distribution and manufacturing facility. Monitor equipment to detect malfunctions, follow established preventative maintenance guidelines, and update logs. Diagnose problems by discussing operation variations with supervisors, then repair machines, boilers, HVAC systems, and material handling equipment. Maintain the physical structure of the establishment, including painting and minor structural repairs, while ensuring adherence to safety and government guidelines. Report major problems to the supervisor and develop action plans to resolve identified safety or compliance issues. Transition from initial shift training to a Sunday through Thursday schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, and Computer Controls
- HS Diploma and/or Technical School Training two years, and/or 3 to 4 years related experience, and/or licensed journeyman of a skilled trade
- Basic level computer skills for word processing and spreadsheets
- Able to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical and electrical schematic diagrams
- Able to effectively present information to peers, upper management, and team members in oral and written form
- Define problems and draw conclusions
- Interpret technical instructions and diagrams
- Strong safety awareness to ensure a safe and healthy workplace
- Sunday to Thursday 3:00 AM -11:30 AM
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (training period)
