Job Summary
Join our team as a Maintenance Technician in the food manufacturing sector. Responsible for maintaining and repairing all equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Requires industrial maintenance experience and technical training.
Required Qualifications
- Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Basic understanding of HACCP and Allergen programs
- Follow all food safety regulations
- Two years certificate from college or technical school, or two years of documented industrial maintenance experience
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, etc.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a high speed manufacturing site
- Packaging experience
