Job Summary
Complete maintenance service requests, repairs, and make-ready units for buildings and grounds as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor. Manage inventory of supplies and equipment, supply personal tools, and clean work areas. Assist with preventive maintenance projects and escalate unresolved issues to the Service Director. Participate in on-call rotations for emergency calls while maintaining positive communications with residents, vendors, and co-workers. Adhere to safety policies and company standards. Weekend work may be required.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of maintenance experience
- HVAC certified
- Proficient in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair
- Strong customer service skills
- Team-oriented mindset

- Valid driver's license
- Proficient in the following areas: plumbing, HVAC, electrical and appliance repair
- Proficient in use of computers and online applications
- Weekend work may be required
- Adhere to all company policies including but not limited to safety and Fair Housing
- Constant walking, standing, and sitting alternately
- Frequent climbing of stairs
- Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, crawling, squatting, pushing/pulling, and reaching above shoulders
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
- Occasionally lift and/or move 50 lbs or more
- Strong constant finger and hand dexterity with ability to grasp/turn, touch, feel, and reach
- Strong sensory skills such as good eyesight, good hearing; ability to comprehend and speak
- Work in a variety of conditions, including both indoors and outdoors
- Frequently exposed to outside weather conditions

Desired Qualifications
- Three years of experience in apartment maintenance preferred
- HVAC experience with certification (Type 1 & 2 or Universal)
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) preferred
- Working knowledge of property systems such as Yardi, Entrata, and HappyCo preferred
- Depending on the property, a valid driver's license and automobile insurance may be required
