Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for completing maintenance service requests and repairs to buildings and grounds; perform make-ready units; maintain inventory of supplies and equipment; supply personal tools; assist in preventive maintenance; escalate unresolved issues to Maintenance Supervisor; participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergencies; ensure positive communications with residents, vendors, and co-workers; adhere to safety policies and Fair Housing; weekends may be required; HVAC certification and experience required; skilled in plumbing, electrical, appliance repair; knowledge of property systems (Yardi/Entrata/HappyCo) preferred; valid driver’s license may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Three years of apartment maintenance experience preferred
- HVAC certification (Type 1 & 2 or Universal)
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) preferred
- Proficient in plumbing, HVAC, electrical and appliance repair
- Proficient with computers and online applications (Yardi, Entrata, HappyCo preferred)
- Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance may be required
