Job Summary
Complete maintenance service requests, repairs, and make-ready units for the Lullwater at Jennings Mill apartment community. Manage inventory of supplies and equipment, supply personal tools, and maintain a clean work area. Assist with preventive maintenance projects and escalate unresolved issues to the Service Director. Participate in the on-call rotation to respond to emergency calls as needed. Communicate positively with residents, vendors, and co-workers while adhering to safety and Fair Housing policies. Weekend work may be required.
Required Qualifications
- HVAC certified
- Proficient in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair

- Valid driver's license
- Proficient in the following areas: plumbing, HVAC, electrical and appliance repair
- Proficient in use of computers and online applications
- Valid driver's license and automobile insurance
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
- Ability to lift and/or move 50 lbs or more
- Strong constant finger and hand dexterity
- Good eyesight
- Good hearing
- Ability to comprehend and speak
- Ability to work in a variety of conditions, including both indoors and outdoors
- Ability to work in outside weather conditions
- Ability to work around moving mechanical parts
- Ability to work in high and precarious places
- Ability to work around fumes or airborne particles
- Ability to work around toxic or caustic chemicals
- Ability to work around risk of electrical shock
- Ability to work in moderate noise levels
- Completion of pre-employment process which may include criminal background, motor vehicle reporting, drug testing, and reference checks
Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years of maintenance experience
- Three years of experience in apartment maintenance
- HVAC experience with certification (Type 1 & 2 or Universal)
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO)
- Working knowledge of property systems such as Yardi, Entrata, and HappyCo
