Job Summary
Complete maintenance service requests, repairs, and make-ready units for The Oakley in Union City. Manage inventory of supplies and equipment, supply personal tools, and clean work areas. Assist with preventive maintenance projects and escalate unresolved issues to the Service Director. Operate within safety policies and adhere to Fair Housing regulations while communicating positively with residents, vendors, and co-workers. Participate in on-call rotation for emergency calls, with weekend work potentially required.
Required Qualifications
- Three years of experience in apartment maintenance
- HVAC experience with certification (Type 1 & 2 or Universal)
- Proficient in the following areas: plumbing, HVAC, electrical and appliance repair
- Proficient in use of computers and online applications
- Valid driver's license
- Automobile insurance
Desired Qualifications
- Three years of experience in apartment maintenance preferred
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) preferred
- Working knowledge of property systems such as Yardi, Entrata, and HappyCo preferred
