Job Summary
Perform general maintenance and repairs including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, drywall, painting, and basic carpentry to maintain community standards. Prepare vacant apartments for move-in by completing turnover repairs, inspections, and improvements. Conduct routine and periodic property inspections to identify safety concerns and report physical needs to management. Assist with inventory management by tracking supplies, tools, and replacement parts. Maintain knowledge of building emergency systems and operational procedures to ensure resident safety. Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and security protocols while delivering strong customer service to residents and vendors. Follow established operational procedures including key control, apartment turns, and emergency response protocols. Requires EPA certification and 3-5 years of relevant experience; on-call schedule required.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- A minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in HVAC repair, Plumbing, Electrical, and General Maintenance repair work
- Ability to promptly respond to work orders and other communications (e.g: text, email)
- Ability to accommodate on-call schedule
- Proficiency in English
- EPA Certification
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in Spanish is a plus
- HVAC Certification is a plus
