Job Summary
Inspect, clean, and maintain property grounds, buildings, and amenities including trash removal. Respond to maintenance requests, complete unit turnovers, and execute preventative maintenance programs while ensuring compliance with Fair Housing rules and regulations. Handle emergencies, document incidents involving property damage or injury, and maintain accurate safety logs. Manage inventory of supplies and equipment, ensuring the physical asset meets designated program requirements. Report unusual risks to the Site Manager and submit required forms.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
- Must be able to lift 100+ pounds on occasion
- Must be able to lift 50+ pounds frequently
- Must be able to stand for prolonged times
- Must be able to stoop/bend
- Must be able to push/pull
- Must be able to work with frequent exposure to elements
- Must be able to work with frequent exposure to chemicals
- Must be able to work in a labor intensive position
- Must be able to observe all Fair Housing rules and regulations
- Must be able to handle emergencies in compliance with Fitch Irick policies and procedures
- Must be able to assure timely reporting and thorough documentation of incidents involving property damage or personal injury
- Must be able to assist with insurance reporting
- Must be able to assure proper safety logs are completed in accordance with company policies and procedures and applicable OSHA and agency law
- Must be able to complete unit turnovers complying with Fitch Irick's unit turnover checklist including removal of trash from vacant unit
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's Degree
- EPA/CFC certification
- 1+ years of maintenance experience in real estate or property management
