Job Summary
Maintain corrugated machines and other equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while observing all health and safety guidelines. Troubleshoot PLCs, motors, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, and read schematics to diagnose electrical and mechanical issues. Configure and troubleshoot industrial computers and networks. This full-time, first-shift position follows a 12-hour rotating 2-2-3 schedule (6am-6pm) with every other weekend off. The employer offers training for recent graduates or those with up to five years of experience.
Required Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Electrical and Mechanical Systems
- Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot various pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Troubleshoot PLC's and motors
- Working knowledge of computers in an industrial environment including hardware configuration and troubleshooting, software configuration and troubleshooting
- Network configuration and troubleshooting
- Reliable self-starter with at least 5 years' experience
- Must be flexible and willing to work 2nd or 3rd shift, weekends, and overtime as needed
- Proven experience as maintenance technician
- Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems
- Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
- Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
- Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
- Must be flexible and able to work 2nd, 3rd shift, weekends and overtime, as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Programmable Logic Controllers: 5 year
- Maintenance: 5 year
Desired Qualifications
- Experience is preferred
- Corrugated experience is preferred
- Certificate in relevant field will be a plus
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
