Job Summary
Troubleshoot, repair, and lubricate machines and equipment while performing preventative maintenance on facility and production machinery. Install, dismantle, clean, reassemble, and move production machinery, including fluid mechanic repairs for hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Maintain building mechanicals, utilities, and HVAC systems by reading blueprints and schematics to determine repair procedures. Ensure a safe and clean work environment while following repair manuals and diagrams accurately. Requires 3-5 years of production maintenance experience, swing or graveyard shifts from 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM or 3:00 AM to 11:30 AM, and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- 3-5 years of production maintenance experience
- Overhead crane repair experience is a plus
- Strong working knowledge of machinery, mechanics, plumbing, welding, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- CAD experience a plus
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical drive components including bearings, bushings, seals, gears, and belt/chain drives
- Must be able to work safely and rationally with heights (such as with overhead cranes)
- Current Valid Driver's License
- Effectively follow repair manuals, blueprints, diagrams, to make appropriate repairs
- Must respond and follow oral and written instructions timely and accurately
- Must work in a team environment or unaccompanied
- As a condition of employment, all applicants are required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
