Job Summary
Perform modifications and repairs to facility, properties, equipment, and furniture, including electrical, plumbing, painting, and light construction. Execute scheduled maintenance on equipment and facilities per company schedules and SOPs while adhering to OSHA requirements and workplace safety procedures. Maintain a working understanding of plant production processes to perform maintenance effectively under general direction. Assist in custodial functions covering floors, rugs, bathrooms, and overall facility appearance. Interact with and monitor outside contractors and vendors on their projects. Use machine and hand tools to work with various materials within prescribed tolerances as directed. Locate, relocate, assemble, and install equipment and furniture as needed. Recommend and implement methods to increase product and service quality. Complete the Facilities Personnel Core Competency in the Learning Management System and participate in self-development activities.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in an electrical or mechanical discipline preferred, or appropriate trade certification and at least 2 years of experience in maintenance and/or machine repair
- Must possess good written and verbal communication skills and be able to coordinate several diverse responsibilities
- Must pass a background check
- Must pass a drug screen
- May be required to pass Occupational Health Screening
- May be required to obtain and maintain gowning certification
- May be required to obtain and maintain media qualification
Desired Qualifications
