Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for inspection, operation, maintenance, and repair of critical utility systems (boilers, chillers, pumps, HVAC, safety, waste) in a fast-paced manufacturing facility; perform rounds, record pressures and levels, respond to alarms, and collaborate with engineering, calibration, and spare parts teams; perform work in mechanical, pipefitting, HVAC/refrigeration, electrical, or plumbing trades; on-call to monitor repairs; maintain GMP documentation and safe, compliant operations. Requires high school diploma with 2+ years experience or an associate’s degree in a technical field; strong communication, ability to use computerized systems, and adaptability to schedule changes; familiarity with GMP and CMMS is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma with at least 2 years of experience in executing maintenance to utilities/facilities equipment, or an associate’s degree in a technical field.
- Ability to complete all paperwork neatly, correctly, and in accordance with Company guidelines.
- Work with computerized systems.
- Knowledge in the operation and maintenance of utility equipment such as boilers, air compressors, HVAC units.
- Overtime and schedule adjustments may be required.
- Knowledge of GMP, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
