Job Summary
Maintenance Technician on a 12 HR shift (6am–6pm); responsibilities include installations, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance and calibration of electrical, electronic, electro-mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and associated equipment used in manufacturing tungsten carbide, HSS and ceramic tools. Read schematics, perform diagnostics with multimeters/amps, work with 3-phase and single-phase motor controls, PLC & ladder logic, soldering, welding, threading, power transmission components, pneumatics and hydraulics; do overhaul/rebuilds and rewiring, calibrate equipment and robots per OEM guidelines; utilize CNC tooling in diagnostics; document work orders; collaborate with staff and vendors; attend training to upgrade skills. Requires Associate degree or equivalent and 3-5 years’ maintenance experience in manufacturing.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent in industrial maintenance and/or relative discipline
- 3-5 years’ maintenance repair experience in a manufacturing facility
