Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for routine interior and exterior community maintenance, as well as equipment maintenance, including tasks such as painting, snow/ice removal, gutter cleaning, replacing filters, plumbing, HVAC maintenance, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical repairs. Must demonstrate strong customer service, safety awareness (OSHA guidelines), and the ability to work with vendors to complete tasks. Requires a High School degree or equivalent, 1-3 years of related maintenance experience preferred, and may require HVAC, EPA, and/or CPO certifications. Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs and be available to work on weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High School degree or equivalent
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- 1-3 years of maintenance experience in a similar facility preferred
- Basic understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, and mechanical systems
- HVAC, EPA, and/or CPO certifications may be required in many communities, based on staffing levels
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Availability to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends
- Ability to walk, bend, reach, climb, and lift up to 80 lbs
- Comfortable with heights and moving heavy objects
