Maintenance Technician - Estates at Horsepen

Job Summary

Inspect vacated apartments for needed services and repairs, then report supply needs to the supervisor. Respond to service requests covering electrical, plumbing, and painting tasks while adhering to safety standards for equipment, fire safety, and hazardous materials. Conduct all business in accordance with company policies, federal, and state fair housing laws. Requires one year of property maintenance experience, HVAC certification, and interior/exterior painting skills. Available for full-time Monday-Friday work with occasional weekends and on-call emergencies.

Required Qualifications

  • At least one (1) year' experience in property maintenance or equivalent
  • Available to work full-time Monday-Friday, occasional weekends and on-call emergencies
  • Skilled in the safe use of tools & equipment used for general maintenance and repairs in a multi-family housing community
  • Good reading and oral communication skills
  • Able to reason, analyze information and events and apply judgement to solve problems
  • Ability to work outdoors, in all conditions, often for extended periods of time
  • Team player

Desired Qualifications

  • Certified in HVAC Systems
  • experienced in interior and exterior painting a plus
