Job Summary
Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery using hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments. Operate grinders and drill presses while troubleshooting electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs, and communicate updates to management and team members. Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations. This role requires 1–2 years of experience with mechanical equipment and familiarity with CMMS software. Candidates must possess color vision for wiring and be prepared to handle materials up to 85 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces. Seasonal temperature changes, dust, and loud noise are present, though hearing protection is provided.
Required Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician/Mechanic
- Well versed in troubleshooting and performing preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment
- Must possess color vision for wiring
- Must be able to unload and move materials up to 85 lbs on a continuous basis
- Must be able to climb stairs, ladders, and scaffolding, performing repairs in confined spaces
- Must be able to work with software programs such as Megamation or CMMS
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with software programs such as Megamation or CMMS
- Experience with MIG/Arc welding is an asset
