Job Summary
Perform repairs, troubleshoot systems, and complete preventative maintenance on appliances, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. Conduct daily inspections of building and alarm systems, winterize facilities, manage pool chemical balance, and remove snow and ice from walkways. Assist in training entry-level staff, inspect subcontracted work, and ensure turnovers are completed. Handle administrative duties for maintenance requests and inventory while adhering to Affordable Housing program standards. Available for 24-hour emergency calls.
Required Qualifications
- Two (2) years maintenance experience
- Must possess the knowledge and have the tools to perform on-site basic repairs including HVAC systems, appliances, water heaters, facility electrical systems, plumbing systems, and any other special equipment on a property
- Must be available for emergency maintenance calls 24 hours a day when scheduled
- Must be capable of performing administrative duties including following proper procedures for recording maintenance requests and responding to them, use proper forms, and maintain inventory of parts
- Must be able to move heavy equipment safely, using proper equipment
- Background Screening and Drug Test Required
Desired Qualifications
- College degree
- HVAC and/or EPA certification
- Previous multifamily experience
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification
