Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for site-based engineering support to maximise uptime for automated equipment (conveyors, sorters, shuttles, robotics). Perform preventative and reactive maintenance, diagnose and resolve faults, respond to breakdowns in real time, support installation and commissioning of equipment and controls, and maintain accurate CMMS records while collaborating with the engineering team to sustain high-performance operations.
Required Qualifications
- Recognised engineering qualification (Apprenticeship, ONC or equivalent)
- Experience working with automated or production-based systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation
- Basic understanding of control systems (e.g. PLCs)
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work at pace in a high-volume environment
