Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Process work orders and execute daily preventative maintenance on machinery, including air systems, refrigeration units, hydraulic tanks, and compressors. Repair, service, adjust, and test equipment while assembling and disassembling components to maintain safety standards. Utilize hand and power tools, operate forklifts and hoists, and immediately report or fix problems noted during shifts. Communicate with management for direction and coordinate activities, ensuring all procedures are followed. Learn facility systems to advance competency, utilizing critical thinking to improve technical effectiveness. Perform all other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Above average mechanical aptitude servicing precision machine parts
- Basic electrical knowledge
- Knowledge and ability to maintain certification to operate various material handling equipment and to service complex refrigeration and mechanical systems
- Must have regular and punctual attendance
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 60 lbs
- Must be willing and able to work flexible hours, including weekends
Desired Qualifications
- General knowledge of computers and software is preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of plant maintenance experience is preferred
