Job Summary
Oversee maintenance and repair of facility infrastructure, electrical systems, plumbing, machinery, vehicles, and building systems through routine and corrective activities. Perform tasks using hand tools, pneumatic equipment, forklifts, and overhead cranes while adhering to safety standards, procedures, and housekeeping protocols. Maintain accurate records of repairs, preventative maintenance, and inspections. Requisition parts and supplies as needed. Collaborate with team members and vendors to support operational needs and resolve service-related issues. Communicate concerns to supervisors and departments. Support overtime and on-call requirements. Adhere to environmental, safety programs, and policies.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to perform maintenance tasks independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Working knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and facility maintenance practices
- Ability to safely operate tools, machinery, and material handling equipment
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and external vendors
- Knowledge of and adherence to safety standards and procedures
- Physical ability to perform heavy work, including exerting significant force and performing activities such as lifting, pulling, stooping, crawling, crouching, kneeling, grasping, and repetitive motion
- Ability to use required personal protective equipment and work in environments requiring close visual attention to detail
- Must be available for overtime and on-call maintenance requirements
Desired Qualifications
