Job Summary
Oversee maintenance and repair of facility infrastructure, electrical systems, plumbing, machinery, vehicles, and building systems through routine and corrective activities. Perform tasks using hand tools, pneumatic equipment, forklifts, and overhead cranes while adhering to safety standards, procedures, and housekeeping protocols. Maintain accurate records of repairs, preventative maintenance, and inspections. Requisition parts and supplies as needed, coordinate with vendors for timely support, and communicate operational concerns to supervisors and departments. Collaborate with team members to ensure safe, clean, and organized workspaces. Support overtime and on-call requirements as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 2- 5 years of experience in general mechanical maintenance or related technical work
- Ability to perform maintenance tasks independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Working knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and facility maintenance practices
- Ability to safely operate tools, machinery, and material handling equipment
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and external vendors
- Knowledge of and adherence to safety standards and procedures
- Physical ability to perform heavy work, including exerting significant force and performing activities such as lifting, pulling, stooping, crawling, crouching, kneeling, grasping, and repetitive motion
- Ability to use required personal protective equipment and work in environments requiring close visual attention to detail
- Support overtime and on-call maintenance requirements
