Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for routine and preventive maintenance of industrial facilities, installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment. Key duties include troubleshooting complex PLC-controlled equipment, performing routine repairs on production equipment, assisting with preventive maintenance programs, maintaining building and grounds (plumbing, painting, drywalling, mechanical and electrical work), assembling and moving machinery, assisting in debugging/new machines, addressing repair requests promptly, contributing continuous improvement ideas, and adhering to OSHA and safety policies. Requires high school diploma and at least 4 years of related experience; technical training or certification is a plus; strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic knowledge; ability to read blueprints/schematics; proficient use of hand/power tools; willingness to adjust shifts as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Minimum 4 years' experience in a related field
- Technical training or certification a plus
- Demonstrated mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Experience with 480V 3 phase wiring and PLC programming preferred
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics
- Troubleshooting and problem solving
- Flexibility to adjust shift schedule as production needs require
