Job Summary
Maintenance Technician - Electrician responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing wiring within apartment communities; diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, and carpentry issues; assist with turnovers of vacant units; maintenance could also include occupied residential units; on-call; electrical license preferred but not required; driver’s license required; purchasing and ordering supplies while maintaining a neat and orderly maintenance shop at the apartment community; benefits include signing bonus of $1,000, health and disability insurance, life insurance, paid holidays, PTO, dental and vision, 401k with company match, mileage reimbursement, and a monthly phone allowance; 20% discount on apartment rental.
Required Qualifications
- Electrical license - required
- High School Diploma, GED, Technical or Trade School
- Plumbing and electrical experience
- A minimum of 2 years residential maintenance experience
- Leadership skills a plus
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Physical requirements: Able to lift 75 lbs. Able to climb ladders and steps. Must be able to operate power equipment such as saws, drills. Must be able to operate door locks.
