Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for electrical and mechanical systems throughout the Dublin Tunnel; reports to the M&E Technical Manager; duties include preventive and corrective maintenance, record-keeping in the Maintenance Management System, handling scheduled tunnel closures, liaising with contractors, assisting in equipment/system upgrade projects (CAPEX), and supporting projects to improve reliability and availability. Requires 5 years of experience and fully qualified electrician; desirable MV/LV/LSS/HVAC; strong computer literacy (Word/Excel/Outlook). Dublin-based, full-time role with Mon-Fri schedule (7:30am–4:00pm); ISO and OHS compliance noted.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician
- Fully qualified electrician
- Desirable: MV/LV/LSS/HVAC
- Computer literacy – Word/Excel/Outlook
- Education: Leaving Certificate (preferred)
- Time-served electrical qualification (minimum requirement)
- Ability to manage maintenance records and documentation in Maintenance Management System
- On-call cover duties
- ISO standards/compliance knowledge (ISO 55001:2014, ISO 27001:2013, ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004, OHSAS 18001:2004)
