Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for the overall maintenance of an apartment community, including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, appliance repairs, and other day-to-day operations. Responsibilities include evaluating, prioritizing, and resolving work orders per quality standards; performing plumbing tasks (pipe fitting, shut offs, sink replacements, faucet installations, garbage disposal installations); troubleshooting HVAC systems (air conditioner, furnace, hot water heater, boiler) and appliance repairs; delivering quality carpentry (doors, doorjambs, drywall, trim, caulking, tile, stair/step replacement); electrical repairs (switches, outlets, light fixtures); tile and tub surround repairs; monitoring inventory of commonly used parts; and performing additional duties as assigned. Required qualifications include EPA certification and OSHA-related safety knowledge; HVAC experience preferred; CPO certification and pool maintenance skills preferred; ability to shovel snow and apply salt during winter; professional appearance; effective communication with residents and coworkers; basic computer skills; reliable transportation and valid driver’s license. Compensation starts at $22.68/hour (annualized to $47,174) with benefits, on-the-job training, PTO, and advancement opportunities.
Required Qualifications

Desired Qualifications

- CPO Certification and pool chemistry and maintenance skills are preferred
- HVAC experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of maintenance safety guidelines and OSHA regulations (including state-specific) is preferred
- EPA certification must be obtained within 120 days of start via company paid training
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic computer skills and comfort learning software, apps, and programs
