Job Summary

Control and Instrumentation Maintenance Technician on-site at Torness power station. Carry out routine maintenance across Control and Instrumentation systems, calibrate and overhaul equipment including pressure, flow, level and temperature instruments, set up and maintain control valves and associated equipment, diagnose faults, and support fault finding on station systems. Adhere to health, safety, and environmental standards in a regulated environment; security vetting required. Salary range £44,121–£55,574 starting, with progression up to £71,786. Full-time on-site role with EDF Nuclear Operations; emphasis on safe, high-quality work and teamwork.

Required Qualifications

  • Completion of a recognised Electrical or Control and Instrumentation apprenticeship
  • HNC ideal but not essential
  • Background of working in a regulated environment
  • Calibrating, maintaining, and testing industrial instrumentation systems
  • Fault finding within complex industrial or process plant environments

Additional Requirements

  • Resident of the UK for at least three of the past five years
