Job Summary
Diagnose, repair, and service building mechanical needs including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. Perform janitorial duties such as carpet extraction, specialty cleaning, and routine housekeeping. Execute minor carpentry, drywall/painting, grounds maintenance, and vehicle upkeep including oil changes. Operate building equipment like air handling units and emergency power generators while recording data in preventive maintenance software. Maintain local travel and driver's license requirements for facility support. Full-time 80-hour schedule with occasional on-call and weekend/holiday rotation.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of janitorial/maintenance experience
- Valid Drivers License
- proof of insurance
- satisfactory motor vehicle record
- Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats
- Ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the facility including but not limited to: Globally Harmonized System (GHS), Vulnerable Adult and Abuse Policy, HIPAA, Resident's Bill of Rights, Universal Precaution, AWAIR, OSHA, Right to know, SDS, ADA, HUD Policy and Procedures, Fair Housing laws and regulations
