Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for the appearance and working order of individual apartments, exterior, and common areas. Performs maintenance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliances, and manages make-ready/apartment turnover to ensure leasing readiness. Provides attentive resident service, resolves issues, and upholds safety and building codes. Participates in on-call rotations and weekend work, with emphasis on preventative maintenance and quality workmanship to preserve property value and community safety.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience in the trades, facilities, and/or residential building maintenance
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Trade school and/or military training or industry designation (CAMT or CAMT II)
- EPA Certification (Type I & II or Universal) recommended
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
- Rotating on-call responsibility for after-hours emergencies
- Valid driver’s license and/or access to reliable transportation
- Proficiency with HVAC, plumbing, electrical trades, and appliance repair
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
