Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for the appearance and working order of individual apartments, exterior, and common areas; perform maintenance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair; manage make-ready and apartment turnover to enable leasing; execute preventative maintenance programs; maintain building safety and cleanliness, including snow removal and grounds maintenance; work weekends and participate in emergency on-call rotation; requires strong customer service and leadership skills, OSHA/MSDS knowledge, and the ability to operate with a safety mindset while communicating effectively with residents and staff.
Required Qualifications
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
- Rotating on-call responsibility for after-hours emergencies
- Valid driver's license and/or access to reliable transportation
- EPA Certification (Type I & II or Universal) recommended
- Trade school and/or military training or industry designation (CAMT or CAMT II)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3-5+ years of experience in the trades, facilities, and/or residential building maintenance
