Job Summary
Coordinate with staff, vendors, and residents to sustain building safety, cleanliness, and upkeep through daily property walks, equipment assessments, and preventative maintenance. Respond promptly to emergency calls and complete service requests in common areas and resident units while managing workload and vendor turnover schedules. Prepare apartments for move-in, repair or replace unit mechanicals, and perform fire safety inspections and snow removal. Assist the engineer as needed and prepare incident reports.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working in multifamily facilities
- HVAC Certification or corresponding experience
- Light plumbing, minor electrical and HVAC skills
- Ability to work on-call
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be a self-starter and able to multi-task
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment which may require working holidays, weekends and nights based on needs at site location and in cases of emergency
- Strong time management, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Some computer skills
