Job Summary
Maintain industrial heat treating furnaces, vacuum washers, conveyor systems, and robotics while prioritizing safety and optimizing equipment performance through prescribed preventative processes. Partner with production teams to address equipment failures and provide support to field engineering services for installation and maintenance at customer sites. Perform machine troubleshooting, metal fabrication, welding, and pipe fitting, occasionally traveling to support field locations. Requires a high school education, ability to read schematics, solid mechanical or electrical knowledge, and a minimum of three years of maintenance experience in a production environment. Hours are 5:00 am to 1:30 pm with flexibility, including a shift differential for late-night work. Valid driver's license is required.
Required Qualifications
- A high school education or equivalent
- Able to read and comprehend schematics and blueprints; electrical and mechanical
- Solid mechanical and or electrical working knowledge required
- A minimum of 3 years maintenance experience with machinery in a production environment
- Ability and willingness to work OT and weekends, as needed
- Ability to perform occasional heavy lifting, repetitive motion bending and stretching, and standing
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion, with assistance
- Valid driver's license is required
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years experience with functionality/programming in installation of temperature controls a plus
- Welding experience is a plus
