Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance on hotel equipment and building systems while responding promptly to guest service calls and maintenance work orders. Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general building issues across guest rooms, public areas, meeting spaces, and exterior grounds. Inspect equipment to identify concerns before failures occur, record repairs, monitor utility readings, and maintain parts inventory. Follow safety policies and remain accessible to leadership during shifts. Assist with special projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
- Climb ladders and work at varying heights
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Safely operate hand and power tools
Desired Qualifications
- Previous maintenance, facilities, hotel, apartment, commercial building, or skilled trades experience
- Experience in HVAC
- Experience in Electrical
- Experience in Plumbing
- Experience in Carpentry
- Experience in Painting
- Experience in Mechanical systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
