Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician role involves performing various maintenance functions in a multi-skill environment, primarily servicing all production operations. Key responsibilities include arc and gas welding, troubleshooting electrical circuits, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, using basic shop tools, maintaining preventative maintenance programs, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental policies. Candidates should have experience in heavy manufacturing, be detail-oriented, and have good computer skills. The position requires the ability to work at heights and includes a training period on day shifts.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Two years of trade school or 2 years comparable work as a maintenance technician in a heavy manufacturing environment
- Good Computer skills and ability to work with Microsoft Office applications (Windows, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to productively work at heights for extended periods
- Knowledge of OSHA standards
