Job Summary
Inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair, and install machinery, electrical devices, pipe systems, and automated machinery including PLCs. Monitor equipment to detect malfunctions, discuss operation variations to diagnose problems, and repair machines. Install, repair, or replace HVAC, refrigeration, and material handling equipment while following established preventative maintenance guidelines. Maintain the physical structure of the facility, including painting and minor structural repairs, and report major problems to the supervisor. Monitor inventory, order parts, track energy usage, and ensure adherence to EPA, OSHA, and other government guidelines. Schedule: Sunday-Wednesday from 1am to 11:30am.
Required Qualifications
- Electrical skills
- Mechanical skills
- Plumbing skills
- Hydraulics skills
- Pneumatics skills
- Computer Controls skills
- HS Diploma
- 2+ years of Technical School Training and/or 5+ years related experience in distribution or manufacturing environment, and/or licensed journeyman of a skilled trade
- 2+ years as a Maintenance Technician
- Basic understanding of refrigeration, plumbing, welding, hydraulics and facility maintenance
- Read and interpret mechanical diagrams and electrical schematics
- Must be able to work safely on mechanical and electrical equipment in a production environment
- Must be available for Sunday-Wednesday from 1am - 1130am
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
