Job Summary
Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, programming, and repairs to minimize downtime on industrial production lines. Install, modify, and maintain mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated systems, including robotics and PLCs. Respond to scheduled maintenance tasks and emergency repair situations while maintaining accurate inventory and documentation. Collaborate to support continuous improvement and drive overall plant performance. Requires proficiency with welding, blueprint reading, and wiring panels. Steady weekday 4x10 schedule with union wages, comprehensive medical coverage, pension, and 401K.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting in an industrial environment
- Proficiency with welding
- Proficiency with reading blueprints
- Proficiency with wiring panels
- Proficiency with PLCs
- Demonstrated reliability with strong attendance and work ethic
- Ability to safely lift up to 75 lbs and perform physically demanding work
- Capability to work in challenging industrial environments (heat, noise, heights, etc.)
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening
