Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Respond to guest requests and complete maintenance work orders for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and pool systems. Maintain mechanical areas, inspect public spaces daily, and perform preventative maintenance on guestrooms and administrative offices. Troubleshoot equipment, test chemical levels in pools, monitor fire alarm systems, and manage daily reports on equipment faults. Clean public areas, lubricate tools, and ensure security of guest access while adhering to Standard Operating Procedures. Work holidays and weekends with physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds. Prioritize assignments in a busy environment, maintaining confidentiality and professional appearance.
Required Qualifications
- Must be willing to work holidays and weekends
- Should be able to exhibit mastery of a minimum of three of trade skills such as electronic systems and controls, mechanical, kitchen equipment, refrigeration, pool operations and general building maintenance
- Friendly, outgoing personality and professional appearance required
- Physical stamina and mobility including ability to reach, kneel and bend with ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills a must
- To be able to work in a neat and efficient manner, keeping work areas clean and well organized
- Ability to multi-task in busy environment and adhere to hotel the Standard Operating Procedures
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required with an understanding and ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
